Interferometric-based approaches for label-free imaging have become powerful tools to unravel system dynamics previously inaccessible to other techniques. Yet, due to their limited specificity, they face significant challenges when dealing with heterogenous samples. I will discuss our ongoing efforts to deliver specificity by showcasing two recently developed optofluidic platforms. In the first half of this webinar, I will describe a platform that molecularly fingerprints biological nanoparticles by integrating surface chemistry together with microfluidics. In the second half of the talk, I will present a thermometry platform, based on optical diffraction tomography, aimed at spatially and temporally mapping how heat propagates within complex media.
