The adventure and comedy movie, belonging to the subcategory of buddy films, is set in the Outerbanks of North Carolina, where Zak, a young man with Down syndrome, has a dream- a dream bigger than living peacefully in a care home with the authorities watching over him. The young boy’s goal is to attend his idol’s wrestling school and to start his journey, he has to leave his current care home by breaking out. His absence does not go unnoticed and a volunteer follows him worriedly, underestimating him just like everyone else. The only person who believes in Zak’s dream and supports his journey is the fisherman Tyler, whom he meets along the way. Together, the two men travel to chase their dreams and face obstacles in life along the way.

The film is a great opportunity to study stereotypical images of people with disabilities or discuss ableism and foster inclusion in the EFL classroom.
