Prof. Dr. Solveig Richter
Solveig Richter is professor for International Relations and Transnational Politics at Leipzig University and was selected for the Heisenberg grant. The professorship teaches in the field of Europe (including foreign policy of EU member states and the EU as a whole) and on important fields of action and strategies of German foreign, European, security, environmental and development policy. Solveig Richter gives lectures and seminars in the B.A. module “Transnationalisation and European Integration” and in the M.A. module “Political Processes and Practices of Europeanisation”. In 2020 she and her co-author Natasha Wunsch (ETH Zürich) received the “Best Paper Award” of the Arbeitskreis Europäische Integration e.V. in cooperation with the Schader Foundation.
