Nina Kolleck holds the Chair of Civic Education and Education Policy at Leipzig University. Her research profile is characterized by a comprehensive approach with strong links to political and educational sciences and a focus on methodological developments (quantitative and qualitative). Prior to her work at Leipzig University, she held professorships at the RWTH Aachen and the FU Berlin. She has also been a visiting professor at the University of California Berkeley, the University of British Columbia (Vancouver), the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University. Her research is supported by various funding institutions such as the DFG, the Max Planck Society, the BMBF and various foundations. In 2019 she was awarded the ARCHES Prize (Award for Research Cooperation and Highest Excellence in Science) of the Max Planck Society (Minerva) together with Dr. Yemini (Tel Aviv University).
