Holger Lengfeld is Managing Director of the Institute of Sociology and Professor of Sociology (Institutions and Social Change) at Leipzig University. He coordinates the Research Area 5: Eastern Europe in Times of Europeanization and Diffusion of the Leibniz-Wissenschaftscampus Eastern Europe Global Area (EEGA) and is involved in the Research Institute for Social Cohesion (FGZ). Holger Lengfeld is Research Fellow at the German Institute for Economic Research Berlin (DIW) and Chairman of the Academy of Sociology (2019-2021).
