Maciej Wilga is research fellow at the Chair of Political Theory and Democracy Research, Institute of Political Science at Leipzig University (since April 2020) and was a research associate, guest scientist (PostDoc) at the University of Innsbruck from 2012-2014 and lecturer at the University of Potsdam from 2010-11. He received his doctorate from the Institute of Political Science at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense and from the Department of Politics, History and International Relations at Loughborough University (2007). In Nice he completed the trilingual ‘International Master’ at the Institut Européen des Hautes Etudes Internationales in 2000. He studied political science and English/American studies at the University of Potsdam (1999). His research interests include European integration theories, European Union, political theory and critical theories.
