Lisa H. Anders teaches and researches on European political topics, the political system of the Federal Republic of Germany and qualitative methods of political science at Leipzig University. She wrote her doctoral thesis on two-level games in the European multi-level system and has published on European (dis)integration, the politicisation of the EU and the Europeanisation of national election campaigns. Currently, she is working on illiberal backsliding in EU member states and researching on infringement proceedings as a tool against the dismantling of the rule of law in Hungary.
