Important Information

  • You need a laptop for the module. If you do not have one, 20 laptops are available, which can be borrowed for the lecture/exercise by sending an email to Andrea Kramer.
  • The final project is in the form of a portfolio exam as it consists of two parts. Each part has to be passed. If you fail in one part, the whole exam counts as failed!
    1. Successful submission of 6 out of all exercise sheets in time before the next week’s lecture (1pm!)
    2. Jupyter notebook containing the final project
  • The deadline for handing in the project is September 4, 2024, at 1pm sharp! Later submissions will not be accepted.

  • Information for students that did the module already in summer term 2023:
    – If you did not pass or do the exam in summer term 2023, you are automatically registered for the first re-take exam taking place in summer term 2024 (see exam regulations). No additional registration for the module is necessary.
    – The portfolio exam in summer term 2024 is different from the one in 2023. When you retake the exam, the portfolio for you is the same as it was in 2023. This means you have to submit the Jupyter notebook and the 5 minutes video, and do not need to submit the exercise sheets. The details on the notebook and video can be found on the GitHub website from summer term 2023.
    – Submission due for the Jupyter notebook and the video is also September 4, 2024, at 1pm sharp! Later submissions will not be accepted.
If you want to have an account on the Jupyter server, please contact Andrea Kramer via email.
