Note: This page is for testing of Hebrew speakers in LEIPZIG/Germany.

Participating in Leipzig:
This study is for native speakers of HEBREW who live in Leipzig (Germany).
(If you are a Hebrew speaker in Haifa (Israel), please register for the experiment called “HAIFA_2023”.)
In this experiment, you will read a few short texts in ENGLISH while we record your eye movements.
The measurement will be done with an eye-tracker, which consists of a high resolution camera. The technique is safe and poses no danger to the eyes.
The experiment lasts maximum 90 minutes and you will receive 20 EURO for participating.
It will take place at the Leipzig University, Beethovenstr. 15.
PREREQUISITES:
- Your English language skills are upper-intermediate to advanced but not at native level (i.e. B2-C1 of CEFR).
- Hebrew is your only native language and you did not grow up bilingual.
- Your age is between 18 and 49 years.
- You have normal or corrected vision.
- If you have corrected vision, please prefer to wear glasses instead of contact lenses.
- On the day of the experiment, please do not wear eye makeup if possible.
- You do not have any known reading problems.
- You do not have any neurological disorder and are not taking any medication that affects the central nervous system.

Then, please provide your name, your email address, and your (mobile)phone number to finalise your registration.
Note:
If you cannot come to the appointed time and want to select another time/date, please re-register for your new preferred date/time using the exact same name and email of your first registration. This will delete your old registration and set the new appointment.

In special cases, the eye tracker does not succeed in detecting the eyes correctly, so the experiment cannot be performed. In this case, you would receive 5 EUR compensation. |
