Zhixu Ni

Research project:
The PhD project is focused on development of analytical protocols and bioinformatics tools for identification and quantification of Lipid Peroxidation Products (LPPs) in various in vitro and in vivo samples. Analytical developments includes application of thin layer (TLC) and liquid chromatography (LC) coupled to high resolution mass spectrometry (MS). Several software tools for specific identification of LPPs were developed to transform the overall data processing procedure from manual identification to high throughput profiling.
