Conference Badge

Please have your conference badge always with you when at the conference.
It will be easy to recognize people who can help you with all meeting-related questions: ELM2018 team will have a conference badge in RED. Please do not hesitate to contact them in the case of any queries or problems.


Oral presentations

We would like to ask all speakers to upload their presentations (.ppt, .pptx or .pdf files) at the registration desk before 8:45 am (and 8:15 on September 27th) at the day their presentations are scheduled. Slide format may be 16:9 or 4:3.


Poster presentations

There will be two poster sessions where you can present your research – on September 27th (odd numbered posters) and 28th (even numbered posters). You will find the number of your poster in the conference book!
We will also serve some drinks during poster sessions which will be generously provided by Wolfener Analytics GmbH.
Posters can be displayed during the whole time of the meeting (from 1 pm September 26th till 1 pm September 29th). However, please make sure you collect your poster by 1 pm on Saturday September 29th.
Best posters and young investigator presentation Awards: We are happy to inform you that during ELM2018 we will select the three best posters and the best oral presentation from young investigators! We are also very thankful to Antioxidants, Cayman Chemicals and Lipotype GmbH for the generous support of the Awards.

Please pay attention to the exact spelling of the password (also upper and lower case). The access will be automatically activated on the first requested day and will be switched off again after the end of your event. Due to the relatively low security, this network will offer only limited possibilities. Allowed are: http (s), POP3 (s), imap (s), smtps, vpn, ssh. The conference WLAN will be available everywhere, where also the open WLAN eduinfo is usable.


Conference Meals and Refreshments

This is included in the conference fees and will be served as indicated in the program. Additional food or drinks can be purchased at the “Bistro” which is located at the left hand of the main entrance.


Conference dinner

Conference dinner will take place at Ratskeller restaurant (Lotterstrasse 1, D-04109 Leipzig) on the evening of 28th September, starting at 19:30. Bring your badge and Dinner Ticket with you. There will be also vegetarian and vegan food. For specific dietary please give the information to the registration desk.

Luggage storage service

No dedicated luggage storage service will be provided but safe deposit boxes are available free of charge. You will need a one Euro coin as a deposit.
