Fabio Ciotti

Fabio Ciotti is Associate Professor of Theory of Literature at the University of Roma “Tor Vergata”, where he teaches “Cultural Analytics” and “Computational Literary Studies”. He has been working for many years on the methodological and theoretical aspects of Digital Humanities and Computational Literary Studies. He has recently worked on the impact of generative AI in humanistic studies. He is the author of numerous publications (including the recent volume Digital Humanities: metodi strumenti e saperi. Carocci, 2023) and has participated in various research projects at the national and international levels. He has been an organizer or member of the program committees of various national and international conferences and Chair of the Program Committee of the DH2019 Conference (Utrecht, NL, 9-12 Jul 2019). He is Editor in Chief of the journal “Umanistica Digitale”, and has been the Chair of the EADH (European Association of Digital Humanities) Executive Board and President of AIUCD (Associazione per l'Informatica Umanistica e la Cultura Digitale).

Fabio Ciotti è professore di Teoria della letteratura presso l'Università di Roma “Tor Vergata”, dove insegna “Cultural Analytics” e “Computational Literary Studies”. Da molti anni si occupa degli aspetti metodologici e teorici delle Digital Humanities e dei Computational Literary Studies e recentemente ha lavorato sull'impatto dell'IA generativa negli studi umanistici. È autore di numerose pubblicazioni (tra cui il recente volume Digital Humanities: metodi strumenti e saperi. Carocci, 2023) e ha partecipato a diversi progetti di ricerca a livello nazionale e internazionale. È stato organizzatore o membro dei comitati di programma di varie conferenze nazionali e internazionali e Chair della conferenza DH2019 (Utrecht, NL, 9-12 luglio 2019). Ha fondato e dirige la rivista “Umanistica Digitale”, ed è stato Chair del Executive Committee dell'EADH (European Association of Digital Humanities) e Presidente dell'AIUCD (Associazione per l'Informatica Umanistica e la Cultura Digitale).
