Society of Friends and Promoters of Leipzig Book Studies (Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer der Buchwissenschaft in Leipzig e.V., GFFB).
The friends of the Book Studies in Leipzig are a registered society that has been formed as a network of well-known representatives of different branches and interested students, as well as a means to support the teaching and research of the Department of Book Studies in Leipzig. The president of the society, Prof. Dr. Dr. mult. Klaus G. Saur, and the managing committee, consisting of Dr. Gerhard Kurtze, Prof. Dr. Lokatis, Dr. Gutjahr-Löser, PD Dr. Keiderling, and Melanie Schlag, decide on the appropriation of funds.
You, too, can become a member of the Society of Friends and Promotors of the Department of Book Studies in Leipzig and can support us with an annual membership fee for single persons or institutions allowing us to continue the financing of high quality academic research and student projects.

Regular member: 60 Euros
Student member: 20 Euros
Every year a publication penned by the colleagues or postgraduates of the department is presented to the members as an expression of appreciation and gratitude.
