CONTENT
In this hands-on workshop, sport science students will have the opportunity to practice the language skills necessary for presenting their study and results in an academic forum.  They will have the opportunity to practice their presentation and get feedback on structure, style, language, and pronunciation. We will focus on how to best begin presentations, report findings, use visuls, and keep the audience engaged. Students will have opportunity to correct common errors and practice the language conventions typical for presentations in their field. Group tasks and peer review will give participants the chance to learn from each other. By the end of this workshop, students will be better equipped to develop their presentation using new tips and strategies for maximum success.
