INTENSIVE ACADEMIC WRITING WEEK
Date(s) - 22/02/2021 - 26/02/2021
10:00 - 13:00
Will you be writing a paper or thesis in English at the end of July? And would you like to have writing support from native speakers? If so, we invite you to sign up for our Intensive Academic Writing Week. Each day will start with a thirty-minute presentation on a specific aspect of writing, such as getting your writing to flow and using the right register and style. Then you will have a 45-minute online writing consultation with a native-speaker. At your daily appointments, we will read and edit together, focusing on issues such as grammar, vocabulary, and word order. The motto is “learning through editing,” and the idea is that we explain the changes we make and identify areas for improvement in your writing. This way you can gain writing strategies and be able to write more proficiently on your own. And you will also have the opportunity to sign up for research and statistics consultations. In the afternoon, you will have time to write independently to meet your writing goal for the next day. Hope to see you there!
