In this hands-on workshop, students will have the opportunity to improve their academic skills in reading and note-taking. The workshop is especially designed for students who are engaged in research, but may be of value to those wanting to improve their own self-organization, learning strategies, and level of reading comprehension for general application at university. Various learning methodologies will be discussed and authentic texts will be analyzed. Group tasks and peer review will also give participants the chance to learn from each other. By the end of this workshop, students will be able to approach their research project better equipped with new strategies for undertaking scholarly research in English.

Bachelor’s and master’s level students

Students will
