Seminarraum S 204, Seminargebäude Hauptcampus

As a continuation of Giving Academic Presentations 1, this hands-on work- shop will give students the opportunity to put into practice the strategies they learned in part 1. Students will not only have the opportunity to give a presentation on a topic relevant to their studies, but they will also have the chance to simulate a Q&A session, using the tools learned in part 1 for handling difficult audience questions. Students will also receive both peer and instructor feedback on their presentations. By the end of this workshop, students will be better able to meet the needs of academic audiences, pre- sent their findings in a scholarly way, and communicate with more confi- dence. Follow-up will be provided at the Language Clinic.
