Can’t make it to the Lan­guage Cen­ter for an appoint­ment? No pro­blem, the Lan­guage Cli­nic now offers online ses­si­ons!

We under­stand that the­re are a num­ber of rea­sons why you might pre­fer online tuto­ring, whe­ther this be sche­du­ling con­flic­ts, bad wea­ther, or last-minu­te ques­ti­ons. With our online ses­si­ons, we aim to repro­du­ce the expe­ri­ence of our face-to-face Lan­guage Cli­nic. The majo­ri­ty of our con­sul­ta­ti­ons focus on wri­ting, and we are hap­py to work on all types of wri­ting with you, no mat­ter whe­ther this be a paper, the­sis, essay, or let­ter of moti­va­ti­on. Howe­ver, we are also hap­py to help out with a pre­sen­ta­ti­on you have com­ing up or with gene­ral lan­guage skills such as grammar or pro­nun­cia­ti­on.

You will be direc­ted to our Mood­le site Lan­guage Cli­nic Online, whe­re you can sign up for an appoint­ment and whe­re you will also go to start your appoint­ment. It takes just a few clicks, and the inst­ruc­tions are on the Mood­le page. The appoint­ments will take place in a web con­fe­rence inter­face (DFN Web­kon­fe­renz). The­re, you will be able to turn on your video cam and speak with your con­sul­tant, send writ­ten text in the chat box, and upload docu­ments that you want to review with your con­sul­tant.
