About me

I am a PhD student at the Universität of Leipzig and a member of the DFG funded graduate programme IGRA (Interaktion Grammatischer Bausteine/Interaction of Grammatical Building Blocks). I am interested in Phonology and its interface with Syntax. I am particularly interested in tone and intonation in the Grassfields Bantu languages that are spoken in Cameroon. My work includes language description, documentation and linguistic theorizing. My interest in Language documentation has enabled me to do fieldwork on a couple of endangerred languages of Cameroon including Bezen, Mankon and Isu.
