This pre-conference workshop targets researchers who are new to the MMN field and who wish to learn about methodological aspects of designing, analyzing, and interpreting MMN studies. We will cover aspects such as "How to design a well-controlled MMN experiment", "What does the MMN signal mean?", "Translating MMN into the clinic", and "Pre-MMN indicators of auditory deviance detection". The workshop will be held in tutorial style with lots of opportunities for questions and discussion (35 min talks + 15 min discussion).
